Description
English: Shown here is Roti with Mattar Paneer, Dal and Mint Chutney. Roti, the staple food of North India, made of wheat, is widely eaten and enjoyed all throughout the country, its making often influenced by the culture and cuisine of each state differently. Mattar Paneer is a curry consisting mainly of tomato gravy, peas and cottage cheese. Dal is made primarily with cooked pigeon peas (toor dal), and can also include a wide variety of veggies. Mint Chutney is a popular side dip made with fresh mint leaves and chilies. A combination of these results in a paradise of delicacies for both the connoisseur and the layman.
