DescriptionRobert Kaske by George Simian (cropped).jpg
English: Circa 1974 photograph of Robert Kaske, a professor at Cornell University, with his Border Collie Rex. The photograph was taken by George Simian, who graduated from Cornell in 1973, and was an instructor of photography at the time. It was one of 40 photographs by Simian exhibited at Stills, a photography gallery in Ithaca, in 1973 or 1974; in April 1974, it was published in the Cornel Alumni News. The photograph also served as the frontispiece to Kaske's 1986 Festschrift, Magister Regis: Studies in Honor of Robert Earl Kaske ("Magister Regis" is a reference to Rex).
