Summary

Description
English: Print of engraving of the Reverend w:John Nelson Goulty c.1830 from Brighton. Accompanying text states "Revd. John Nelson Goulty, Brighton" and in small text "Pubd by Westley & Davis, Stationers Court, May 1826". Father of w:Horatio Nelson Goulty.
Date
Source Susan and Barrie Kaye t/a K Books Ltd, York, UK (cropped versions #POR20445).
Daniel Robertson, Royal Pavilion and Museums, Brighton & Hove (uncropped versions #FA203451 and #FA203451).
Author Unknown authorUnknown author
Other versions w:Brighton & Hove (bus company) appear to have a low-resolution copy of the same engraving in use on their 664 John Nelson Goulty bus page. It seems to be the same engraving but with a wider aspect showing both arms present.
Collections Base/The Keep have two preview images available for #BTNRP_FA203451 and #BTNRP_FA203452.

Many appreciations to Susan and Barrie Kaye of K Books Ltd who arranged for this scan to be made for Wikipedia. The original remains for sale: inventory #POR20445. Note that given the age of the print, the paper was in very fragile condition, and as a result, cleaning was not attempted beforehand.

Further appreciations to Katie Hobbs and Daniel Robertson for sourcing the fuller-frame versions from the Brighton & Hove Fine Art Collection, and making scanning available for Wikipedia too, the second of which provides a more accurate date of publication.
