English: Retired U.S. Navy Master Chief Petty Officer William Goines, second from right, the Navy's first African-American SEAL operator, is recognized as a pioneer of swimming during the 8th annual National Black Heritage Swim Meet Community Breakfast in Cary, N.C., May 28, 2010. SEAL representatives attended the event for the second consecutive year in order to speak with swimmers and coaches about opportunities available within the special warfare community as part of the Naval Special Warfare Group 2 community outreach program.
