Opera singer Jean de Reszke, horse rider and breeder Aristides Baltazzi, racehorse owner Andor von Péchy (his 'Macdonald' would win the German Derby the following year in 1902) and entrepreneur Sigmund von Uechtritz-Fuga at a horse racing track in Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad), Bohemia.
