Description
English: Republic F-84G-16-RE Thunderjet 51-10538 "Damn Yankee", 7th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, 49th Fighter-Bomber Group, shown at Pohangdong AB (K-3), South Korea, equipped with wing pylon fuel tanks and JATO Bottles for taking off on short runways. Pohangdong was an alternate for Taegu AB (K-2), and due to its short runways, JATO bottles were needed for takeoff.
