Raymond and Silent Greg sit on a train from Nara to Kyoto, Japan in June 2006.

Two world travelers known for their distinct appreciation of the cultures of East Asia and the orient, Raymond and Silent Greg have been captivating visitors for years with their knowledge of the lesser known Boss-San rituals of the late 21st century. Canadian-born, the pair are ne'er witnessed apart, and there has been no documented evidence that the aforementioned "Silent" Greg can indeed speak. Instead, he communicates solely through the medium of his lifelong friend, partner, and hetero-lifemate, Raymond.

This is the last known image of the partners, taken by a lucky tourist in June 2006.
