DescriptionRailway Junction at Grosmont (geograph 5123769).jpg
English: Railway Junction at Grosmont, looking towards Whitby. The single line on the left is the Esk Valley Line between Middlesbrough and Whitby, and the platform served by Northern Rail trains on that line is behind the camera. The lines and platforms to the left are the northern terminus of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR), a heritage railway which operates steam hauled passenger services from Pickering. Some NYMR trains continue beyond Grosmont over the Esk Valley Line to Whitby, using the junction in the distance.
