This map shows the modern extents of the Reichswald. (One-third was used to convert to agricultural land after world war II).Remains of german trenches from the September 1944-February 1945 period are marked in red. The Helmert GSGS Mapreference grid numbers are given so wartime mapreferences (MR) can be found.
