| Description |
English: Royal Canadian Air Force H-Hut at the site of RCAF Cayuga, the R1 Relief Airfield for No. 16 SFTS, Hagervsille. The airfield is also known as "Kohler Airfield". The building is located at 1084 Kohler Road, Cayuga, Ontario. The H-Hut was one of the standard buildings used at BCATP airfields and these huts are seen in many wartime photographs. In 2014 this H-Hut is the Haldimand Agricultural Community Centre, and has been continuously used as a public building since World War II. The actual wartime use of this building is reported as "shrouded in mystery". This picture is published with the permission of the Haldimand Agricultural Community Centre Cooperation. |
