English: RAF Radar Museum Entrance to the RAF radar museum in Neatishead. Both RAF Neatishead and RAF Coltishall are now closed and the future of the still open (to-date) RAF Radar Museum in Neatishead may be uncertain. The first radar system was installed here in September 1941, and after the war the station was established as a Sector Operations Centre and in use until 1993. A year later the original operations building, which housed the old equipment, was converted into the Air Defence Radar Museum, and after the closure of RAF Coltishall on 1st April 2006, the RAF Coltishall Memorial Room was opened - it houses a collection of photographs, trophies, memorials and artifacts. The RAF Radar Museum has won the 2007 Gold Award for 'Best Small Visitor Attraction" in England. For more information see: http://www.radarmuseum.co.uk/
