English: AWM caption : Mareeba, Qld. 1944-03-14. A CAC Boomerang fighter aircraft of No. 5 (Tactical Reconnaissance) Squadron RAAF, inside a camouflaged hangar, undergoing a 240-hourly inspection by fitters.
Comment : the engine is a Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasp.
