Summary

Description
English: The prolate neutron and proton shapes and qualitative distribution of up (u) and down (d) quarks arise from the analysis of intrinsic quadrupole transitions between the nucleon ground N(938) and ∆(1232) excited states. Spin-spin force pushes like-flavored quarks to opposite ends of each nucleon.
