Summary
[edit]This is a cover with an illustration by W. Heath Robinson (1872-1944) which I believe is still in copyright in the UK due to the 70 year rule (expires 2014).
It is a low resolution scan (150dpi) with some degradation over the original. It is to be used to illustrate the Professor Branestawm article where the quality of the illustrations in the success of the book is an important point worthy of a fair use justification.
A little historical note: the 3/6 on the cover of this 1964 edition is the price in shillings and pence in pre-decimalisation UK currency (3 shillings and 6 old pennies) - equivalent to 17.5p today. Just thought you might like to know that.
