Description
Deutsch: Postkarte aus Stephansort, einer im August 1888 gegründete, bedeutende Handelsstation der von privaten Investoren getragenen Neuguinea-Kompagnie. Die Postkarte zeigt Tabaksfelder für die Stephansort zunächst bekannt wurde. Im Jahr 1901 wurde die Tabakanpflanzung, die sich gegen die Konkurrenz nicht mehr durchsetzen konnte, in Stephansort endgültig aufgegeben.
