L'auteur de ce portrait est J.-Arthur LeMay qui était caricaturiste au journal La Patrie de Montréal. Monsieur LeMay est décédé le 20 janvier 1944 comme le rapporte le journal La Patrie dans son édition du 21 janvier 1944, page 3. J'ignore si ce portrait de Monsieur Bélanger a jamais été publié. La photographie du dessin est de moi. Ce portrait est destiné à illustrer un article existant de Wikipedia sur Octave Bélanger, un peintre québécois très actif dans les années 1920 à 1970.
