Corrections and additional information: Szulc -> Leo Schultz (about 1880 - ?), Wener -> Wacław Werner (1879-1948) - a physicist, Antoni Przeborski -> Julian Przedborski (1886-1931), a major in Polish Army, a member of DPG, Stanisław Kępiński (a mathematician) -> Felicjan Kępiński (1885-1966), an astronomer, Władysław Dziewulski (an astronomer) -> Wacław Dziewulski (1882-1937), a physicist, a younger brother of Władysław, and last but not least Jan Króo = Jan Kroo (1886-1941 or 1942). Horowicz, Wacław Dziewulski, Kroo, and Steinhaus obtained PhD in Göttingen.
