Description
Français : Égout collecteur William au sous-sol du Musée d'archéologie et d'histoire de la Pointe-à-Callière (lieu de naissance de la ville de Montréal et classé site archéologique et historique national). Cet égout en pierre de taille est également l'ancien lit de la petite rivière Saint-Pierre qui avait son embouchure à cet endroit et canalisée aux alentours de 1832.
English: Collector sewer William underneath the Montreal Museum of History and Archaeology Pointe-à-Callière ( birth place of Montreal and a recognized national historical and archaeological site). This stone built sewer is also the ancient river bed of the little Saint-Pierre river and its estuary before being canalized around 1832
