English: Skeletal mount of Platybelodon sp. NMNS004582 F044022 on display at the National Museum of Natural Science in Taichung, Taiwan. The fossil was identified as Amebelodon and Platybelodon on the same label, but the morphology of the distal ends of its tusks are consistent with the descriptions of Platybelodon by Osborn & Granger (1931) and Lambert (1992) rather than those of Amebelodon.
