DescriptionPlaner Snipe Avoidance Side Rails 000.jpg
English: This charcuterie board has been prepared for passing through a thickness planer without being affected by snipe. Strips of wood (“rails”) are attached to each side to ensure that both feed rollers are lifted from their stops the whole time that the board is under the cutter head. Snipe will occur on the rails, but not on the board itself. The rails can be attached with double-sided adhesive tape and reused for any number of boards of similar thickness.
