Karte des Reisewegs der Ersten Kamtschatkaexpedition von Tobolsk nach Kamtschatka. Die schwarz umrandeten Zeichnungen stellen Vertreter derjenigen Völker dar, mit denen die Expeditionsteilnehmer in Berührung kamen (jeweils von links nach rechts):

• Oben: Samojede, Jakute, Tungusin, Tunguse, Korjake, Kurile, Tschuktsche
• Mitte: Kamtschadale
• Unten: Tunguse, Tungusin

Eine Version der Karte wurde von Vitus Bering, den Leiter der Expedition, gemeinsam mit seinem Bericht Anfang 1730 an das St. Petersburger Admiralitätskollegium geschickt. Das hier als Digitalisat vorliegende Exemplar wurde 1777 von Georg Thomas von Asch (1729–1807) nach Göttingen übersandt.
