Notes
Nederlands: Enigszins afwijkende kopie naar het origineel in tempera op doek door Pieter Brueghel de Oude in de Koninklijke Musea voor Schone Kunsten van België, Brussel. Andere kopieën, eveneens met diverse kleine afwijkingen, worden bewaard in het Museo del Prado, Madrid, het Museo Lazaro Galdiano, Madrid, het Museum of Art, Philadelphia, of worden vermeld in privébezit en in de kunsthandel. Mogelijk ligt een aan Pieter II Brueghel toegeschreven en 1595 gedateerde pentekening, thans in de collectie Damiron, Lyon, aan de basis van de talrijke herhalingen.[1]
