English: Local entire wrapped posted in Peter Williamson's Edinburgh Penny Post in 1784 - stamped with "E. Penny Post Not Paid” circular handstamp in black ink on the reverse. The service ran from about 1774 until 1793 when it was integrated in the General Post Office. |
