Summary

Description

Parachute beardtongue was discovered in 1986. It is a mat-forming #perennial herb with thick, succulent, bluish leaves. These plants are able to survive on steep, unstable, shale slopes by elongating downslope from the initial point of rooting. These plants range in #WesternColorado near Rifle, CO.
