Español: Reproducción de la pelvis de un individuo adulto masculino. Hallada en 1994 en la Sima de los Huesos (Atapuerca, Burgos), es una de las más completas del regisro fósil mundial. De su morfología se deduce que las poblaciones preneandertales del Pleistoceno medio, hace unos 3000.000 años (Homo heidelbergensis), poseían unas caderas anchas y una estatura y peso medio que se acercaban en los varones a 1,74 m. y más de 80 kilogramos. Las inserciones musculares, muy marcadas, confirman la corpulencia de estos humanos. Material: Resina. Sima de los Huesos, Atapuerca, Burgos. 300.000 años.
