Deutsch: Der Blaue Pfau (Pavo cristatus) ist eine Vogelart aus der Familie der Fasanenartigen (Phasianidae). Er gehört zur Ordnung der Hühnervögel und ist neben dem Fasan und dem Haushuhn einer der bekanntesten Vertreter dieser Vogelgruppe.
English: The Indian Peafowl, Pavo cristatus (from Latin Pavo, peafowl; cristatus, crested),[2] also known as the Common Peafowl or the Blue Peafowl, is one of two species of bird in the genus Pavo of the Phasianidae family known as peafowl.
Français : Un Paon bleu (Pavo cristatus, du latin Pavo, paon et cristatus, à crête). Le paon bleu et le Paon spicifère constituent les deux seules espèces du genre Pavo.
Italiano: Un esemplare di pavone comune (Pavo cristatus), un galliforme della famiglia Phasianidae, noto per la bellezza della livrea e il marcato dimorfismo sessuale.
