Summary

Description
English: Spores of the bacterial endoparasite Pasteuria ramosa as seen with phase-contrast microscopy. The mature spores (light color) are about 5.5 µm in diameter. The earlier cauliflower stages (dark in the picture) are much larger. The host is Daphnia magna.
