English: Original German description from Landois (1895:108): Deutsch: Tafel II.
Der zweite aufgefundene Riesenammonit; er steht senkrecht auf der Bauchkante. Die fehlende Wohnkammer habe ich in ihren Umrissen durch ein Drahtgestell, teilweise hinten mit Papier überklebt, rekonstruiert. Die Loben- und Sättel-Grenzen sind an einigen Stellen sehr deutlich, grob, ähnlich unseren Eichenblättern umrandet. Links habe ich mich selbst photographieren lassen, um die Grössenverhältnisse noch auffälliger zu machen. |
