Description Late 16th century English pamphlet showing a pike and shot formation. The "p" marks are the pikemen, the "o" marks are the shot -- arquebusiers and possibly musketeers. Other characters: "C", captain; "D", drums; "E", ensign; "F", fife; "h", halberdiers.
