According to Charles Stirton, this is voucher specimen: C.H. Stirton, J. Vlok & J. Žantovská 11561 (Holotype NBG). It is a rounded bush with dark green leaves and white flowers growing in old unburnt vegetation. Open sandy and fine gravel substrate. Occurs in the transition zone between mountain sandstone fynbos and mountain shale renosterveld.
