DescriptionOld Town Wall, Stafford - geograph.org.uk - 1060908.jpg
English: Old Town Wall, Stafford, near to Stafford, Staffordshire, Great Britain.
This is the largest surviving fragment of Stafford's medieval town walls. It sits at the end of Eastgate Street where it joins North Walls.
The orientation of the wall in relation to Eastgate Street along a vertical concave groove at the nearer end suggest that this is the inner northern face of the East Gate itself.
