English: A visit to the O’Hanlon Center for the Arts, a creative space on several acres of beautiful woodland in Mill Valley, CA. We took a quick tour of their two public buildings, which we are plan to rent for our Democracy Cafe and other community activities. The Loft is a three-level meeting space for up to 40 people, with a main meeting room and kitchen, as well as two lower-level studios, which are great for art parties. The Gallery is a 2,000-square-foot exhibition and gathering space which features monthly shows and is great for performances. Ann and Richard O’Hanlon founded the Center in 1969, to provide programs, studio space, exhibitions, and experiences that honor individual creativity, develop artistic practice and build community. We hope that hosting our events in this inspiring setting can energize our community as we prepare for 2018, and engage more neighbors to join us and keep democracy alive!
