English: A photo of Bibi Nyamwagele by Samumba , one of the wives of Chief Saidi Gwau . Gwau , around the 1940s, was Chief of South Singida when his brother Chief Mange Gwau died and took over the reigns until after Tanzania's independence, when chieftaincy was abolished. The Gwau family is well known in Singida for creating the Nyaturu clan. Bibi Nyamwagele , passed away in 2004.Provided by Grandson - Bendera from Singida. Currently living in Canada. |
