Summary

Description
English: 15th C. Portuguese painting of "St. Vincent on saltire cross" ("São Vicente Vicente na cruz em aspa"). Incomplete, only a half-panel (209 cm x 40.8 cm) exists. Dated c.1470 and commonly attributed to painter Nuno Gonçalves. Formerly referred to as "St. Andrew", but since re-identified as St. Vincent of Saragossa and renamed. Currently held by the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga in Lisbon, Portugal.
