DescriptionNorth Bank Depot west building, east facade, 2011.jpg
English: The North Bank Depot, west building, at NW 11th Avenue and Hoyt Street in Portland, Oregon. This and a matching building across the street are listed on the US National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The buildings were also known as the East and West Freight Houses of the Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway, the formal name of the North Bank (Rail-) Road. The west building was used only for freight; the east building (not visible here) was also used as a passenger station. In the mid- to late 1990s the buildings were refitted for use as residential dwellings.

smaller file size, the version I intended to upload; no need for file to be nearly as large as the one I mistakenly uploaded - the two look identical on computer monitors, and this is therefore better for people with slower Internet connections
