Description

Noirmont Tower. A Martello Tower completed in 1814 for protecting St Aubin's Bay during the Napoleonic Wars.
It had one 18-pounder cannon on the top and another on the base platform.
Photograph taken from the roof of the German World War II fortifications.
The Condor Ferries catamaran is heading west around the island on its way to Guernsey.
