Summary

Description Size comparison of UY Scuti to Earth's Orbit and the Sun. UY Scuti used to be the largest known star at 1708 times the size of the Sun, but newer measurements found it to be smaller, at 909 solar units. The Sun is barely visible, just two pixels in the image.
