Description

Flyer protesting the proposed elevated Riverfront Expressway at the French Quarter of New Orleans, 1960s. Top has cartoon of octopus (representing the expressway) with its tentacles around New Orleans landmarks; cartoon signed "Parge" or "Darge". Below is a poem against the expressway, and at bottom text "Ask For a COMPREHENSIVE REGIONAL TRAFFIC PLAN" and crediting the flyer to the Louisiana Council for the Vieux Carré, Martha G. Robinson, President.
