English: Specimen of the flat brown scavenger beetle, Necrophilus hydrophiloides Guérin-Méneville. This individual was collected in USA: Oregon: Multnomah County: Route 30 at Shepperd's Dell State Natural Area, at dog feces on steep side of moist ravine, 16-Aug-1991, collector M.K. Oliver, in collection of same. When found, this individual already had the left elytron cracked. |
