Summary
| Description |
English: Eastbound New York State Route 25 east of Meadow Road just before it approaches the west end of the overlap with 25A in Smithtown, New York. Before the two routes merge, however, NY 25 must run under the long railroad tresle that carries the Port Jefferson Branch of the Long Island Rail Road over this road as well as the wetlands and valley of the Nissequogue River. One important note, Jericho Turnpike officially comes to its eastern terminus after this bridge where it encounters the Smithtown Bull, but NY 25 continues to The Village of the Branch, Centereach, Coram, Riverhead, Mattituck, Southold, Greenport, Orient Point, and other communities in between. |
