| Description |
A very close look at the nucleus of NGC 5033. This was imaged back in 2005 when the Advanced Camera for Surveys High Resolution Channel was still functional. It was imaged along with some spectroscopy from Hubble's spectrograph, STIS, to help measure the mass of the black hole at its center by determining the velocity of the stuff whirling around it. Physics!
