English: So-called Artemision jockey. Bronze, ca. 140 BC. Recovered from the sea near Cape Artemision in Euboea.
Français : Statue de bronze d'un cheval et de son jeune jockey, trouvé dans une épave au large du Cap Artémision en Eubée. Le jeune jockey tenait les rènes dans la main gauche et un fouet dans la main droite. Les plis sur son visage et notamment sur son front révèlent l'excitation et la passion. Cette œuvre est connue sous le nom de « Jockey de l'Artémision ». Restauration en 1971. Vers 140 a.
