Description
English: Mouth of the "Tiefer Elbstolln" adit in Dresden, Saxony, Germany. This adit was built between 1817 and 1837 as a drainage adit for the Doehlen coal mines. It is about 6.500 meters long from its mouth in the north to the south.
Deutsch: Mundloch des Tiefen Elbstollns am Cottaer Elbufer. Der Tiefe Elbstolln ist ein 6500 m langer Stollen auf dem Gebiet der Städte Freital und Dresden in Sachsen. Er wurde zwischen 1817 und 1837 unter Leitung des Freiberger Markscheiders Hausse als Hauptentwässerungsstollen für die Steinkohlegruben im Döhlener Becken aufgefahren. de:Tiefer Elbstolln, de:Cotta (Dresden)#Tiefer Elbstolln
