Summary

Description
English: Mt. Columbia's approach and East Face, from a good bivy site by Kings Trench, in foreground (the dip in terrain). It's about an 11 km (6.8 mi) ski/walk up the Athabasca Glacier to get here, then another 8 km (5.0 mi) from this bivy site to the summit. Vic was just coming back after placing whiteout flags.
