English: This is the dome of the Djamaâ El-Djazaïr Mosque in Algiers, which is the third-largest mosque in the world and has the tallest minaret in the world. The dome is a hemisphere with a diameter of 50 meters and rises to a height of 70 meters, crowning the prayer hall. The dome is equipped with a lightning rod measuring 6.5 meters, adorned with three balls and a gigantic crescent moon, entirely covered in gold leaf.

La coupole est équipée d'un paratonnerre mesurant 6,5 mètres, orné de trois boules et d'un gigantesque croissant de lune, entièrement recouverts de feuilles d'or. |
