Description
English: Pictured is an individual assumes the firing position in full CBRN Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) including the Mk IVA CBRN suit and the General Service Respirator (GSR).


Over his CBRN suit the individual also wears the new VIRTUS body armour and helmet.

Attached to his body armour is the Lightweight Chemical Agent Detector (LCAD).

The LCAD is designed to detect classical Chemical Weapon Agents (CWAs) and to alarm at attack level concentrations. It forms part of a two-tier detection capability with the Man Portable Chemical Agent Detector (MCAD).
