Svenska: Mjölkhare, bjära eller puke som spyr upp stulen mjölk i ett kärl. Mjölkharen var ett magiskt väsen inom svensk folktro, vilket användes för att tjuvmjölka grannarnas kor. Teckning gjord efter en kalkmålning från slutet av 1400-talet av Albertus Pictor i vapenhuset till Härkeberga kyrka, Härkeberga socken, Trögds härad, Enköpings kommun, Uppsala län, Uppland, Sverige. Teckning och bildbearbetning av Gunnar Creutz. Bilden är skapad hösten 2012 till vinterutställningen Skräck & skrock på Falbygdens museum i Falköping, men just denna version användes aldrig i utställningen.
English: A Mjölkhare (i.e. "Milk hare") spewing up stolen milk in a receptacle. The "Milk hare" was a kind of Bjära or Tilberi, a magical creature in Swedish folklore which was used to steal milk from the neighbours' cows. Drawing after a wall painting from the late 15th century by Albertus Pictor in the porch of Härkeberga Church, Härkeberga Parish, Trögd Hundred, Enköping Municipality, Uppsala County, Uppland, Sweden. Drawing and photoshoping by Gunnar Creutz. The picture was created in the autumn 2012 for the folklore exhibition Skräck & skrock (i.e. "Horror & Superstition") at Falbygdens museum in Falköping, but this version was never used in the exhibition. |
