English: Mermithidae.A mermithid worm winding though Hebe.The length is circa 10cm and the diameter < O.3 mm.. The Hebe is covered in spider webs.It looks as though the mermithid is questing for spider hosts.It was constantly active. Locality Hilden, Co. Antrim,Ireland. Date 31 May 2012 11.am.
