English: Monument in All Saints' parish church, Hursley, Hampshire, in memory of 2nd Lieut Dennis George Wyldbore Hewitt VC, Hampshire Regiment. He was killed in action near St Julien in Belgium on 31 July 1917 aged 19. The brown wooden plaque records that the wooden cross below was "erected by the regiment and removed from the battlefield where he fell".
