Original print measures 8.5cm x 11.2cm; inscribed in ink on reverse by PhM2 Graham Fulghum while serving on the USS Manatee: "The Doctor and his 'Staff of Experts.' We get along swell together and have lots of fun too." A second inscription, in pencil, is also on the original print's reverse and was written by the Robert N. Fulghum, the son of Graham Fulghum and based on identifications given to him in 2000 by his father: "FRONT (l-r) / -PhM3 Leland T. Larsen (from Wisconsin)/ PhM2 Graham S. Fulghum, Sr.(N.C.) / STANDING (l-r) / -PhM1 Parham (Tennessee) / -LT. C. W. 'Doc' Straub (Pennsylvania)"
